Convict Frances Davis RH

6th March 1787
Dear diary, my name is Frances Davis. My age is twenty-two. Well today I stoll some things from the people I work for as a servant. Because they paid me very little and feed me very little aswell. So I stoll this diary, linen, bread, pocketwatch, jewellry. All together the total of shillings was 4882 shilling but the Runners caught me when I fled. Today, the 6th of March I went to my trail at Chelmsford,Essex. The Judge said" Your sentence is death''. But the Judge said'' your final sentence is four-teen years''. Then I felt so relieved and happy. So now I'm back to prison until my journey awaits to Botany Bay.
